Eglė Ulčickaitė

Is actively participating in exhibitions since 2010. She has organised six solo exhibitions and she has been taken part in group exhibitions in Lithuania, Germany, France, Poland, Russian, Belarus, Italy, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands. Studied in Utrecht School of the Arts (2010). She has been residing in Duesseldorf (2014), Nida Art Colony (2017). She has become a laureate of XVI International Vilnius Painting Triennial (2016); her art works have been acquired by MMC and private collectors.

About creativity
My creative technique is like a borrowing. When I am painting I borrow the time from things which do not belong to personal memory archive. I can imagine in that way it is possible to fill out the lack of clearer present perception. Maybe it is not mine if I don't remember. But that doesn't mean it's not me.
